Tr Electronics of Germany has manufactured a family of Tr absolute encoders which gives the user a single source for accurate and reliable measurement in a wide variety of applications.They include advantages such as fast programming of encoder parameters, readily available industry standard interfaces, flexible mechanical mounting, favourable price/performance ratio and adaptability to existing standards and applications. The Ce-100 absolute encoders can be supplied with an additional 2-channel incremental output (with 900 phase shift). This, for example, can be used for such control functions as speed control, etc. These are used anywhere where reliable and accurate capture, interpretation and manipulation of displacement up to 24 bit (16, 777, 216, steps) is required for control or monitoring purpose. Typical applications include machine tools and transfer machines, flexible production installations, gantry crane and gantry robots, automatic storage and retrieval, injection moulding machines, forestry machines, textile, printing, lamination, packaging machines, etc. Tr's absolute encoders offer steps paralleled flexibility and customisation for specific application thanks to the programmability of all major output parameters. The programmable parameters are output code, baud rate, data format, steps/revolution, decimal places after steps/rev (max 4), number of turns, preset value, parity, latch and bus.
