Automatic Fire Detection & Alarm System

Secutron Inc of Canada introduces an advanced microprocessor-based user-friendly software-programmable UL/ ULC listed and FM approved Fire Alarm and Detection System with the capability of system networking. It is ideally suited to fit the varied needs of residential, commercial, industrial and institutional applications. The system comprises both conventional and/or addressable detection circuits with two stage alarm capability. The main control unit provides for up to 24 input circuits, 4 general purpose relays, 8 polarity reversal bell circuits as well as system operated relays for alarm, trouble, and supervisory indication. Each initiating circuit can accommodate up to 99 addressable sensors and 99 addressable modules. The unit also has multiple communication ports for printer, remote annunciator, connection to NFPA 71 and NFPA 72 systems. The system has the unique facility of ground fault indication by input circuit and history file of over 950 events and activities. The system controls and visual indication are contained on the main board which also contains main processor, programmable port, printer port and non-volatile memory for operating program/software. The visual display consists of a series of LEDs for zone-wise indication for alarm, supervisory and trouble and also for common system indication of power alarm, supervisory and trouble. An 80-character LCD display is also provided for addressable devices, zone indication for input circuits, display of history files, custom message, etc. The system program can be downloaded in the field from a computer using the service terminal port. All information is stored in flash memory and EEPROM.
