Rubber Air Spring Insulators

Machine House offers world class rubber air spring for highly effective insulation of machinery and sub-assemblies against impact and oscillation with technology from Bilz Vibration Technology, Germany. Depending upon the static load, the natural frequency of the elements varies between 2.5 Hz and 6 Hz in vertical direction. The ratio between vertical and horizontal natural frequency is 1-1.2. Maximum spring deflection during impulse load is approximately 15 mm. The bell-shaped component is made of high-grade elastomer. The construction allows a highly effective insulation without the disadvantage of excessive horizontal deflection. While it is impossible for the element to breakdown as a result of overloading or a sudden drop in pressure, the rubber air spring is available in seven different sizes – Faebi 50 to 580, and in the range of 20 kg/piece to 10400 kg/piece. The Faebi range could find application in various equipment like high-speed power presses and forging hammers, machines with highly dynamic forces, measuring and testing machines and high precision machine tools.
