Metallizing Equipment Co offers Coatings to Resist Acidic Corrosion. Corrosion in acidic environments is thus no more a problem. Acidic environments where pH value is up to 2, causes corrosion vigorously; and such type of corrosion is named as acidic corrosion, whether it be chemical plants, steel industry or any other industry where metallic surfaces face acidic environments always have fear of loosing huge part of their profits due to corrosion. The company noticed this problem and started work on this, a longer research work gave wings to their wishes and finally they found the way to stop this degradation. Being active in thermal spray coatings field since 1967, the company utilised its full-fledged hi-tech R&D workshop, to bring a sigh of relief for all the industries suffering from acidic corrosion. Metal samples were coated with Ni based alloys by using HVOF spraying equipments kept in 50% sulphuric acid and 50% HCL for 48 hours, when tested in laboratory shown positive results, which were expected out of this research work. Now it can be assured that corrosion due to acidic conditions is no more a problem.
