J R Exports offers Jarlon coatings, which are resistant to scratching and cutting. These coatings are used for cookware, bakeware and for electrical appliances and components such as iron sole plates, grills and oven liners. There are two coats, consisting of base coat (primer) and top coat, available in attractive metallic and non-metallic colours. These metallic coat finishes have several performance advantages like: the top coat contains high content of PTFE which results in initial non-stick and long term easy cleaning properties; as these are two coats, they have a longer life span; and high performance polymers can be used in the formulation of this material, as the equipment made using this material commend higher price and the clients are also high end consumers. Besides this 2-coat system, the company also has 1-coat PTFE base, 1-coat silicon base and 1-coat phenol base.
