J Mangsun & Co has successfully developed a low cost constant velocity universal joint for industrial application. These joints are used in automobiles but the cost factor prevented their use in other industrial applications. Salient features: the driving and driven units have the same velocity within one rotation; suited to joints with unequal angle fitment; in-built arrangement for telescoping; easy installation; low vibration resulting in long life for supporting structure; and, wide range of end fittings to choose from. This universal joint has applications in the following industries: petrochemical, pharmaceutical, paper, cement and packaging machinery.
