Temperature & Humidity Transmitter

Autonics Corporation offers a wide range of Temperature and Humidity sensors, THD series, which means Temperature + Humidity Double sensor. Small and compact in size, from single equipment, one can measure the values of both temperature and humidity. There are high sensitivity temperature and humidity sensors inside the equipment. The sensor probe is available in length of 100 and 200 mm. Three types of sensors are available: indoor type, duct mounting type and wall mounting type. The indoor type is IP10 type and the other two IP65 type. The process value of temperature and humidity will come in different output formats. The outputs are Pt100?, 4-20 mA, 1-5 V DC and RS485 communication output (Modbus RTU). The THD sensor is available with and without 7-segment LED display. The measurement temperature ranges are -19.9ºC to +60.0ºC. The measurement humidity ranges are 0.0 to 99.99%RH. The RS485 is available with 115200bps data transfer rate. The THD is with a good sampling rate of 0.5 sec, which is neither too speedy nor too slow. The unit will work with a power supply of 24 V DC. But it consumes very small power for the operation. The voltage output at -20ºC/0%RH is 1 V DC and at 60ºC/100%RH, 5 V DC; current output, at -19.9ºC/0%RH is 4 mA and at 60ºC/99.9%RH, 20 mA, in the 2-wire system and can be communicated to a PC using a suitable converter. These sensors can be widely used in process plants to measure the temperature and humidity simultaneously. One typical application is in pharmaceutical industry where different chemicals are stored and need to control the temperature and humidity at a constant point. The feedback from the sensor can be given to a power controller and the correct temperature and humidity can be maintained.
