Mid Online Sensor, Non-Contact

MRK Engineers offers a non-contact MID Online Sensor. The MID is a two-piece infrared non-contact temperature measurement system with miniature sensing head and separate electronics. The sensor is small enough for installation just about anywhere, yet it performs as well as much larger systems. The MI electronics include adjustable emissivity and selectable peak hold, valley hold and averaging features that are normally not found in systems in this price range. Designed for applications where the target temperature is in the 0 to 500°C range, the sensor is housed in a rugged stainless steel enclosure to ensure long term performance even in harsh industrial environment with ambient temperature up to 85ºC. Although the MI is small in size, it still has the features one needs with a choice of 2:1 or 10:1 optics and users selectable output signal. And the MI response time is fast or faster than many high end systems. The miniature size and low cost makes it ideal for installation at various points along a process. Accurate and easy to install, and affordable, the MID precision infrared temperature measurement is now an economical alternative.
