Metal Detector for Conveyors

Gebr?der PG offers Metal Detection System 3000 manufactured by EGE-Elektronik Spezial-Sensoren GmbH (Germany), which detects metal parts in non-metallic environment especially in-feed system of conveyors. This prevents damage of valuable machinery if metal parts enter a stone crusher or foodstuff handling system. The detection system comprises an amplifier and a detector coil and works on the inductive principle. The amplifier has an automatic regulation adjustment that has the effect that metal parts are only detected when they are in motion. It gives a ?save? function to the coil. The sensitivity can be adjusted. The above system is supplied as a loose detector coil and an amplifier unit suitable for 230 V AC or 24 V DC. System 3000 and 3300 can be used to check and give information of about entry of undesired metal part in the in-feed system of foodstuff industry, sugarcane, cement and even on stone breakers. System 3300 has higher sensitivity and can detect smaller metal parts.
