Digital Indicating Fibre Optic Sensor

Autonics Automation offers Digital Indicating Fibre Optic Sensor, BF5 series. This senses high speed moving objects and minute objects, due to its 1/10,000 high resolution and high speed sensing (20,000 times per sec). It is having dual-display for light incident level and setting value (BF5R-D). Up to 8 units adjacent mounting is possible with mutual interference prevention function. It has 4 types of response time settings, i.e., Ultra Fast mode (50µs), Fast mode (150µs), Standard mode (500µs), and Long Distance mode (4 ms). It has 4 sensitivity setting modes, which are – auto tuning, 1 point teaching (maximum sensitivity), 2 point teaching and positioning setting. The RS485 communication is available using dedicated communication unit (max 32 units connectable). The auto channel setting function is available for multiple installations. The design is very slim (W 10 x H 30 x L 70 mm). The power supply voltage is 12-24 V DC. The output is NPN open collector output. The amplifier is long lasting using APC circuit regardless of element's life degradation or temperature change. The product is CE approved.
