Virtual Reality Chair

Virtual Reality environment can emulate physical presence in virtual world through sensory experiences such as vision, sound, touch, smell, and taste, etc. Most of the current virtual reality environments are primarily related to visual experiences. Advanced, haptic systems include tactile information, generally known as force feedback in medical, gaming and military applications. Furthermore, virtual reality covers remote communication environments which provide virtual presence of users with the concepts of tele-presence and tele-existance through the use of standard and non-standard input devices. Virtual reality chair is one such effort of ASIMoV Robotics to provide a research platform for the researchers all around the world working in this domain.
