Robotic Arm, Pick & Place System

Siemag Industries has designed and developed a Robotic Arm - an automatic Pick and Place System for transfer of a given item from one place to another. The arm keeps reversing and picking the fresh one for further placement without the intervention of any operator. The system uses pneumatics and related servo controlled elements. End grippers are designed to suit the items involved. These grippers can be made to suit the individual requirements. Vacuum suction, pads are conveniently used for light and flat articles and intricate grippers are employed for complex objects. The movement of the arm can be given to suit the need based on the pick point to the place point. The load capacity can be from a few milligrams to reasonable heavy ones. The system can be programmed for various applications such as assembly, stacking, loading-unloading systems, etc. The pick and place unit assumes special advantage in hazardous environment. Special materials can be used for pick and place systems in such circumstance. This ensures safety while giving a boost to the productivity. Demonstration of the unit can be given at the company’s works with prior appointment.
