Suhner offers Automation System. This is used for drilling, tapping & milling applications. This enhances the productivity and also reduces the cycle times with operation specific product selection. The product is modular in nature and can be automated with PLC and pneumatic controls thus resulting in an SPM. In drilling, the product range is from 0.5 mm up to 45 mm with different tool holder options. The tapping units have a range of M4 to M20. The company offers milling units, which can do a variety of milling operations. The customer list includes leading names in the following segments: SPM builders; automobile OEMs, ancillaries; steel, aluminium foundries and processors; and manufacturers of fittings.
