Suhner India, specialists in low cost automation in cutting, drilling and milling operations, offers Monomaster - the cost effective starting range for drilling and tapping operations. The company offers different technologies covering self-feed pneumatic sleeve-unit, lead-screw tapping units, slide units with different drive systems and fully integrated CNC-units. Along with the drill-capacity range from 1 mm to 60 mm, customer specific solutions can be found based on a standard product range for almost all applications. With a maximum stroke of up to 200 mm and optional built-in peck-feed and speed range from 35 to 12000 RPM, these units are ideally suited for cost effective drilling, chamfering, reaming, etc. As an additional advantage, the speed of each unit is easily adjustable by changing of pulleys and therefore split up in 26 steps. All these units are available with electric drive, and as a speciality also with direct drive. In this design, the electric motor is directly mounted to the spindle body. With additional gear boxes, a limit number of speeds, ie, 400, 700, 750, 1500, 3000, 6000 and 12000 RPM are available. The main advantage is the lower cost of approximately 20% offered by these units. All these units are uniquely designed, manufactured in Switzerland and assembled by the company in India.
