Voyage Incorporation offers electronic Voltage Controllers for motors in module housing, manufactured by KIMO Industrie-Elektronik GmbH, Germany. These are for single-phase capacitor motors up to 18 A, and three-phase motors up to 6 A. Lektromik K3 is an electronic module for the voltage control of single-phase induction motors with a capacitor run. Kimodul DLS for three-phase motors makes use of phase-control in three phases. With all modules a power supply for the internal control circuit is incorporated in the module. Special triacs vary the voltage between terminals with phase control. The firing circuit uses the available line-to-line voltages to determine the trigger pulses, which are synchronised with supply frequency. A neutral connection is not required. Features: compact housing for mounting on 35 mm DIN rails; compact version with the width of a standard contactor; live terminals are well protected against accidental contact; and can easily be retrofitted.
