DC Motor Controller

Annpab Technologies offers a DC Motor Controller, Model DCD SP5, designed for single quadrant operation of direct current shunt wound motors. These controllers supports DC motors with field excitation of 220 V DC or permanent magnet motors. The armature voltage is obtained from the mains by means of phase controlled rectifier bridge. By controlling the conduction angle of the thyristors in the half bridge circuit the armature voltage can be varied from 0-180 V DC. Closed loop control with armature voltage or tacho feed back control is possible. Speed control can be through a potentiometer or an external DC voltage. These drives are available form 0.5 HP to 10 HP.
