Capacitive Proximity Sensors

Capacitive Proximity Sensors

Annpab Technologies has introduced the finest range of Capacitive Proximity Sensors providing DC output voltage (a first in the country) or switched output in NPN or PNP configuration. These sensors use state-of-the-art circuit design and extensively use integrated circuits and SMD components offering great consistency and reliability. They come with polarity reversal and pulsed short circuit protection, which tests the output continuously and disable it until the short circuit or overload is removed. The built in power-on output enable/hysteresis circuitry eliminates false triggering. These sensors work from 10-30 V DC, has very low stand by currents of <2 mA.Switched output versions supports sink or source currents in excess of 300 mA. Linear sensors provide DC outputs of 0 to 6 V DC limited to a maximum of 14 V DC. All the above sensors are available in threaded nickel plated brass barrels or plastic barrels and are fully sealed to prevent ingress of moisture. Nominal sensing distance for an 18 mm dia sensor is around 20 mm and can be adjusted with the distance/gain trim-pot. Built-in LED indicates the output condition. Capacitive sensors being sensitive to most types of materials find applications in sensing min/max level of liquids, powders, granules, etc., in silos and containers. They are also used in sensing or counting metallic or non-metallic objects. Thus they find wide acceptance in pharma/food processing/chemical industries. Linear output sensors find application in feedback control systems, non-contact vibration monitoring or as an input for other circuits. The company, with specialised knowledge of capacitive sensors, can offer customised solutions for a variety of industrial applications.
