Controlling Suspended Particulate Matter In Fuel

Add water in oil and control SPM. Sounds unconventional! but it works!! The current concern in limiting air-pollution arising primarily due to incomplete combustion of fuel oils, will soon take alarming proportion with very rapid industrialisation taking place in country. Problems of incomplete combustion, soot deposition and sludge formation are common to a greater or lesser degree with all hydrocarbon fuel oils especially those sold to industrial plants. The problems of particulate emissions are particularly acute, as these carbonaceous contaminants are certainly in violation of local, state and country"s anti-pollution laws. A simple, cheaper yet highly efficacious mode to combat to great extent is EFF (Emulsified-Fuel-Firing) whereat water plays a very vital and significant role in not only conserving precious fuel oil but also in containing pollution drastically. EFF ensures near complete combustion (product/fuel ratio); reduces air-intake (NOx), SPM (suspended particulate matter) brings forth superior flame-pattern (atomising-viscosity, preheat temperature); cuts down maintenance down-time + offers benefits like blending of acceptable cheaper grades of HCs. Bulk consumers (average 10 kLs per day on annual basis) are maximum beneficiaries of GRP-EFF in respect of quick ROI (6 months max) for meagre capital outlay.
