Rotary Actuators

Tornado rotary actuators, available from FAR Hydraulics, essentially convert the pressure energy in the working fluid into useful rotary power. They are suitable for application requiring high torque with limited rotary motion. Tornado actuators are of vane type design. This design with just a single moving part compared to other contemporary designs, give a long and trouble free service life with zero backlash. Models are available with maximum output torque ranging from 10 kg.m to 250 kg.m with maximum operating pressure of 70 kg/cm2. The company can also provide customised designs suitable for specific applications.
