Rotary distributor valve joints

Rotary distributor valve joints

Far Hydraulics has developed rotary distributor valve joints (RDVs) with integral rotary valves. These find application in transfer machining systems using rotary indexing tables, where a number of clamping mechanisms are to be operated by hydraulics. In rotary transfer machining systems the jobs are loaded/unloaded to the workstations on the indexing table from a fixed position of the operator. Once a job is loaded, individual machining operations will be carried out progressively as each workstation passes through different machining locations around the indexing table, and comes back to the operator?s position where it is taken out and a new job is loaded. The RDVs ensure supply of hydraulic oil under pressure to the actuators in all the workstations on the indexing table. Tornado RDVs are rated for a maximum operating pressure of 350 kg/cm? and flow of 25 lpm. Standard models are available for 5, 6 and 8 stations, for both single acting and double acting cylinders. Other combinations can be supplied against specific requirements.
