Trans Coils Pvt Ltd offers the Rollathrust Linear Actuator, a device that converts rotary motion into linear motion. This is a thread less device having smoothness and accuracy better than ball screw. The linear actuator uses rolling element ball bearings that tract a helix pattern along the shaft, which produces a Rolling Helix or Rollathrust for short. Available sizes have thrust capacities ranging from 0.3 kg.m to 175.0 kg.m, shaft diameters ranging from 8 to 50 mm and leads ranging from 0.625 to 150 mm. The Rollathrust linear actuator consists of six preloaded bearings that contact the shaft at an angle. When the shaft is rotated, the bearings imitate a virtual screw thread, causing the Rollathrust to travel linearly along the shaft.
