Trans Coils Pvt Ltd has introduced a mechanical Variable Speed Drive, Model JK series, designed for use on a wide variety of machinery. The drive may be used where continuously variable speed, with positive drive is required. Model JK1 has CCW output, whereas Model JK2 has CW output, irrespective of input direction not changing. The output is continuously variable from 0–400 RPM with input of 1800 RPM. The drive gives constant output torque of 25 lb.in at any speed. Such drives are widely used in textile industries for maintaining Web Tension. The drive is normally provided with a lever to change the speed.
