Tie-Rod Cylinders

Bimba Manufacturing Company now offers NFPA aluminium body tie-rod cylinders. This expansion is the 'result of Bimba's acquisition of TRD Manufacturing Inc, a manufacturer of NFPA-interchangeable pneumatic and low-pressure hydraulic tierod cylinders. The TRD product line includes the TA Series Tie-Rod Cylinders. These cylinders are precision-machined from high alloy aluminium bars and fealure a pre-lubed design that eliminates the need for additional lubrication. A 250 PSI pneumatic version is standard and a 400 PSI non-shock hydraulic version is optional. Available with single or double rod end; over-sized rods; and nine bore sizes ranging from 1-1/2"to 10". Options include all stainless steel (SS) and electroless nickelplated (EN), non-rotating (NR), and low friction for smooth operation (LF). Also offered are the TR Series Tie-Rod. Cylinders. Featuring three rods for stability and strength, these cylinders are precision-machined to provide accurate line movement and positioning. A 200 PSI pneumatic version is standard and a 400 PSI non-shock hydraulic version is optional. Single end or double end rods are available in five bore sizes ranging from 1-1/2"to 4". Options offered include all stainless steel (SS) and electroless nickel'plated (EN), and low friction for smooth operation (LF). A third series is also available. Multi-Stage Tie Rod Cylinders are available in two, three and four-stage force multiplying models. Both 125 PSI pneumatic and low-pressure hydraulic versions are offered in eight bore sizes from 1-1/2"to 8". Options offered include all stainless steel (SS) and electroless nickelplated (EN), triple-rod (TR), and internally guided non-rotating (NR).
