Bimba Manufacturing Company, the originator of the stainless steel body air cylinder, offers the widest range of models, bore sizes and standard options. The company now offers magnetic position sensing cylinders in 5/16"and 7/16"bore sizes. The 5/16"through 3/4"bore magnetic position sensing cylinders can now be used with Bimba's new patented giant magnetoresistive (GMR) switch, as well as the new miniature reed switch. These cylinders feature a low profile track on the cylinder body, a 40% profile height reduction compared to traditional track styles. A variety of stroke lengths are available, including many standard stroke lengths. Cylinders can also be custom-designed for specific application needs.
