Pneumatic Actuator

Bimba Manufacturing Company introduces its new compact PneuMoment pneumatic actuator, with large bearing surfaces for high loads and high moment loads. This actuator also offers standard side and end ports for easy plumbing, and an optional auxiliary port that allows air or vacuum through the actuator from the guide beam end cap to connect additional automation devices such as grippers and a vacuum port for clean service applications. The PneuMoment actuator includes integral mounting channels that run along the guide beam body for mounting flexibility. An optional end flange mount is offered for additional mounting flexibility. The pneumatic actuator also features a miniature switch that slides into a track in the actuator body. The Bimba PneuMoment actuator is available in one bore size, 1-1/1 6"or 27 mm, with a variety of stroke lengths. Options include internal and external bumpers, external shock absorbers, internal stroke adjustment, and magnetic position sensing.
