Hydraulic Puller

Instrumentation & Controls offers Hydraulic Puller, one of the basic tools for maintenance purpose in almost every industry. It consists of a cylinder ram fitted in puller body having two or three jaw to grip the item (pulley, gear, beading, etc) to be pulled. As the ram moves ahead by a hand pump, the pulling action by the jaws on the object to be pulled starts. The cylinder supplied with the puller is removable and can be used elsewhere. This puller is available in various ranges and capacities up to 150 tonne, and strokes up to 300 mm. Higher ranges with intensifier are also available. Applications: to remove bearings, gears, pinions, wheels, pulleys, etc, from shafts or axles. Advantages over convenional methods: i) Reduces time, ii) No hammering, thereby no damage, and iii) Eliminates heavy fatigue to the worker. Unique features: Strong yet compact and portable unit; Cylinder threads right out of puller frame so it can be utilised separately for jacking, spreading, pressing, pipe bending, etc; Faster pulling operation with two-speed pump; Easy in operation so that even an unskilled worker can operate safely without danger of damaging the job; and, hydraulic pump can be used separately for testing purpose.
