Direction control valves

Direction control valves

Instrumentation & Controls offers hydraulic direction control valves. These are rotary, hand lever operated direction control valves, with many configurations, 4-way, 3-positions, etc, with/without detent, suitable for pressure up to 10000 PSI. These are available in size from 1/2" BSP port size to 2" BSP port size with flow capacity from 6 LPM to 200 LPM. These valves are generally operated by hand lever, but air pilot operated or solenoid-operated valves are also available. This type of valves can have integral pressure relief valve or non-return valve. The valves are available with threaded connections, ie, pipe mounting or sub-plate mounting. These are also available in bank of two valves to operate two actuators (two cylinders or motors) from one pump oil supply. Their unique features are as follows: low torque operation; less operator fatigue; seal tight pressure holding for virtually zero leakage and for positioning control, ie, inching operations; no creeping of cylinders; light weight and compact design for hard rugged use; very long serviceable life with practically no maintenance; high surge and burst capabilities; and full rated pressure can be applied to the exhaust port by using an additional drain-port. The throttling or metering can be obtained, by gradual overlapping. These valves are ideal for control of virtually all types of hydraulic and pneumatic actuators, cylinders, motors, etc, for mobile equipment like lift trucks and road construction machines.
