On the Spot Gas Monitor

Subtronics has introduced its on-the-spot gas monitor for gas leaks - The OTSM™ series of flameproof & weatherproof gas detector cum monitor. In today’s industrial environment, there is a great need to detect as well as display the gas concentration, on the same spot of detection, in-order to respond quickly and efficiently and take immediate corrective action. As OTSM remains in the proximity of the target gas, it is designed to be highly resistant to poisoning and etching. Its main enclosure is certifi¬ed waterproof to IP-68. Its key features include bright display, continuous self diagnostic check, Three-Status® Registered technology, industry leading 16-bit ADC for accurate and quick response, automatic sensor open indicator, intrinsically safe magnetic pen input, optional attachable Siren cum Flasher among other features. Multiple OTSM’s can be loop chained to a remote Annunciator Panel, which reduces the cost of cabling and wiring. Interfacing to external systems is provided by using Industry Standard outputs like Relays, 4-20mA and RS485 MODBUS RTU communication protocol. OTSM’s can be configured to detect combustible, toxic, hazardous gases as well as oxygen (suff-iciency & deficiency), Nitrogen and other challenging gases. Main applications include monitoring hydrogen emission from batteries in battery back-up rooms, ammonia leak detection in refrigeration, cold-storage, dairy and ¬fishery industry, L.E.L monitoring of toxic and combustible gases, E.O. detection, CO monitoring, oxygen level suf¬ficiency and deficiency monitoring in clean room applications, P.N.G and LPG gas leak monitoring in bullet yard areas, boiler rooms, commercial kitchens, Chlorine leak detection, Nitrogen monitoring, CO2 monitoring, H2S monitoring in toxic areas etc. Subtronics is an ISO 9001 certifi¬ed company and has been passionately manufacturing detection devices for over 46 years with over 4500 clients and is the recipient of 34 awards for its excellent contribution to the ¬field of safety.
