High Temperature Single Core Cable

Ram Ratna Agro-Plast manufactures high temperature single core unsheathed copper cables for voltages up to 1100 V AC. For the conductor, many thin strands of electrolytic copper are fine-drawn simultaneously for uniformity of characteristics such as resistance, dimension, flexibility, etc. Drawn strands are collected and closely twisted in high precision machines and further compacted. This not only imparts circularity to the bunched conductor but also prevents the tendency for the strands to separate and exert internal pressure on the insulation when the cable is bent during installation and usage. The insulation is specially formulated grade of PVC compound, capable of withstanding higher conductor temperatures. Continuous rating of 105&176;C and intermittent rating of 125&176;C enables the cable to be overloaded without endangering safety. The insulation is resistant to boiling water, steam and vapours to prevent aging and cracking in practical usage in kitchens, bathrooms, damp walls, chemical industries etc.
