Toolcraft Systems Private Limited manufactures a range of EDMs (electric deposition machines) also know as spark erosion machines. The company has introduced compact 4-axis CNC Wire EDM, Model Accuspark 801/802, with fixed table design and with AC servo motor and drives, linear scales for all axes. The machine tool slides are located behind the table which offers the following advantages: higher accuracies can be achieved and maintained for a long time; heavier job can be loaded on the fixed table without effecting the performance of the slides; slides are well protected from water contamination; wire threading is simplified and easy to maintain; the slides of all four axes are accessible from behind for routine maintenance; high accuracy, LM guides and ball screws on all axes with linear scale feed back; corrosion free, stainless steel work tank and work table, and totally enclosed. Established in 1961, the company is one of the leading manufacturers of CNC minimills and engraving machines and spark erosion machines (EDMs) in India. Toolcraft was established as an ancillary to Hindustan Machine Tools Limited (HMT) – Bangalore by a technocrat who was working in HMT as a design engineer. The company was established mainly to manufacture components required by HMT and also as a centralised heat treatment shop.
