Laxmi Auto Engineering Works offers Automatic Coil Winding Machines, ACW-6. It meets the demand for a multiple winder without paper inserting attachment and is suitable for the winding of any number of coils between 1 to 6 at the same time. It is fitted with a foot operated clutch, leaving both hands of the operator free to do any necessary paper interleaving or other adjustments. It is suitable for coil length of 6.5 mm to 450 mm with a maximum diameter of 200 mm. Its height is 839 mm and the net weight is 45 kg. The turns counter reads up to five digit figure and has a mechanical reset lever. The position of the carriage can be readily adjusted so that winding can be commenced at any point and the wire guide pulleys set at the most favourable position to ensure accurate and even winding. The drive from the head-stock to the lead screw is by means of changing gear and wheels, and since the direction of motion is reversed at the end of each layer, there is no error at the change over point.
