Temcon mobile transformer units are ruggedly built equipment for pre-heat and post weld heat treatment work of pipe welds, vessels, tanks, etc., in power plants, refineries, offshore/onshore projects. Constructed in heavy gauges – CRCA steel sheets or stainless steel sheets, they are providers with castors for easy mobility. The windings in the transformer are class H with forced air cooling for long and trouble free service. Temcon power sources are rated for 50 kVA, 65 kVA, 80 kVA and 100 kVA to provide heating power at 32, 42, 60 and 80 V to feed flexible heater pads. A50 kVA power source can feed up to 18 heater pads of 2.7 kW at 60 V or 15 pads of 3.25 kW at 60 V.
- Primary input supply – 380 V/415 V/440 V, 3-phase 50/60 Hz
- Secondary output – 32/42/60/80 V
- Automatic control – PID controllers/programmer for each channel
- Overload protection – over current and over heating
- Auxiliary supply – 115 V and 230 V for connecting auxiliary instruments
