Multi Secondary Voltage Transformer (MSVT)

Supreme Instrument Laboratories offers a Multi Secondary Voltage Transformer (MSVT), with ratio 240 V/240 V having 88/44/22/11 secondary winding rated for 5 VA/10 VA/20 VA or 40 VA or any other VA ratings as per customers requirements. There is no measurable variation in error from one winding to any other winding. Also there is no measurable variation error when the burden is transferred to each of the other secondary windings. There is only one input and a number of independent outputs with same output voltage and burden. It is an ideal transformer for energy meter test benches where a number of meters are calibrated and tested at a time. The class of accuracy can be ± 1% or ± 0.5% or ± 0.3%. Insulation between primary and secondary winding will be 5 kV; and between each secondary winding proper insulation will be given to withstand 3 kV. If there is no proper insulation, the primary and secondary windings will get heated and the transformer will be burnt out. While heating up, the output will be disturbed and will be out of accuracy.
