Current Transformer, Ring Type (Tape Insulated)

Ashmore Electricals manufactures current transformers for low tension metering and protection. These are made with high grade, cold rolled grain oriented, silicon steel toroidal cores for reliable and consistent performances. The ring type, tape insulated models are available in round/rectangular versions, for metering or protection application. The winding is of superior enamaled copper winding wire of suitable gauge. Almost any size of internal diameter (25 - 170 mm) is readily available. The specifications are as under. Primary rating: Round CT - 50 A to 10,000 A, Rectangular CT - 300 A to 10,000 A; Secondry rating - 1 A or 5 A; Burden in VA - 1, 2.5, 3.75, 5, 7.5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60; Class of accuracy: Metering - 0.5, 1.0, 3.0, 5.0, Protection - 5P, 10P, 15P; ALF-Protection - 5, 10, 15 and 20; ISF-Metering - less than 5; Special rating as well as multi core, multi ratio CTs can be offered.
