Ashmore Electricals manufactures current transformers for low tension metering and protection. These are made with high grade, cold rolled grain oriented, silicon steel toroidal cores for reliable and consistent performances. Summation type current transformers are available either in tape insulated or resin cast versions, for metering or protection application. The specifications are as under: Primary rating - 1 A or 5 A; Secondary rating - 1 A or 5 A; Burden in VA - 1, 2.5, 3.75, 5, 7.5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 40, 50, 60; Class of accuracy: Metering - 4.5, 1.0, 3.0, 5.0, Protection - 5P, 10P, 15P; ALF-Protection - 5, 10, 15, 20; Primary and secondary terminals - stud type; Number of primary windings - as per customer's requirement (generally 2, 3, or 4).
