Safety Foot Switch

Precision Engineering has developed a new safety foot switch for use in operation of heavy machinery like press brakes, hydraulic machinery, press type projection welders, seam welders and many more, where instant stop operation is required in an emergency. The half pressed switch gets activated and remains On till any emergency occurs, during which one has to press the switch pedal fully, which is easily accessible to the operator. The switch gets disconnected immediately and locks itself to prevent any accidental start. To release the lock for restart one has to press the knob (located at the right side bottom of the switch coloured in red) manually after correcting the mistake or discrepancy that had necessitated the stoppage of the machine in the first place. The knob is located and fixed in such a way that any falling object cannot operate it accidentally. One has to make efforts to release the lock manually. This foot switch encapsulates two 10 A/500 V AC ? 4 terminals ? elements with 2-core, 2-meter flexible cable to make it ready to use. Six rubber legs are provided at the bottom to avoid slippage while operating.
