Electronic Voltage Relay

Circuits and Controls offers an Electronic Voltage Relay, Model EVR10P. This is a solid state relay which senses the input voltage (AC\DC as the case may be) and operates when it crosses a pre-set limit. The relay consists of a stabilised reference voltage, which can be set by a potentiometer on a calibrated dial. The input voltage fed through terminals 9 and 10, rectified and filtered in case of AC input, is compared with the reference voltage. A trigger circuit switches the electromagnetic relay, when the preset limit is exceeded in the desired direction. Generally two types of voltage relays are available- under voltage and over voltage relays.

Established in the year 1968, Circuits and Controls is a company started by two young graduate electrical engineers with the first job of design and consultation for India’s first indigenous electrostatic coated abrasive plant and successful commissioning. The company also manufactures different types of electronic relays for industrial purposes in its electronic works. These relays are mainly used in control of machine tools, chemical plants, cranes, and other industrial applications.
