Electronic Speed Switches

Photon Controls offers electronic speed switches for various applications. Generally, it is observed that in rotating machines in industries such as material handing/processing industries or machine tool industry there are applications like conveyors, crushers, agitators, centrifuge machines, bucket elevators. There is always a requirement of speed switches for safety reasons such as speed should not cross certain limits or the direction should be changed only after the motor comes to certain speed, etc. This electronic speed switch offers such protection to the motor. The unit consists of a sensing probe/a proximity switch and control unit which works on 110/230 V AC and offers potential free contacts for further interlock. Other features of the units are: sensing speed can be from 1 RPM to 6000 RPM; built-in delay to avoid the nuisance of tripping; and potential free contacts available in afferent versions like 1 NO, 1 NO + 1 NC, 2 NO + 2 NC, etc.
