Photon Controls offers a compact version of electronic safety guard for operator safety on pneumatic, and hydraulic power presses, shears, press brakes, etc. The unit consists of transmitting and receiving elements consisting of a number of beams depending on the height of curtain required, and a control unit in a compact 96 x 96 mm panel cut out size. This helps user in easy installations, vibration proof unit. The sensors work on modulated infrared principle and have unique features of multiple scanning which make it self-diagnostic and immune to fluctuations. The transmitting and receiving elements have 3-pin and 4- pin connectors to make easy connections, and individual beam status indicators to indicate the unit in operation. Other features include individual beam by-pass, test and total by-pass facilities. The unit has wide application in the automobile, stamping, machine tool, press shops and other industries.
