DC Battery Disconnect Switches (Pic4)

Curtis/Albright offers a line of heavy duty DC battery disconnect switches are models SD150 A (125 amp) and SD 250 A (250 amp) for telecommunications and power conversion applications. The SD Series of switched disconnect devices have been designed to provide a rapid means of disconnecting batteries or other power supplies in the event of serious electrical faults. All SD Series disconnect switches are capable of safely rupturing full load battery currents in the event of an emergency. These switches combine the dual functions of a manual disconnect and coil operated line contactor. The new switches are offered in a family of products that have a number of common features, including: heavy duty contacts - double breaking main contacts with silver alloy contact tips that are weld resistant and hard wearing and offer excellent conductivity; lockable version; protection; and easy installation and serviceability.
