Curtis Instruments Inc has developed a contactor with a continuous thermal current rating of 800 A to its inventory of contactors for use with telecommunications equipment and uninterruptable power supply systems. Model SW800 heavy duty DC contactor fills the gap between the 600 A and 1000 A range, currently available from the company as Models SW600 and SW1000 respectively. The SW800 was designed with a small footprint to suit today's equipment needs. Features: compact design; high quality and reliability; silver alloy main contacts that are hard wearing, and longer lasting than standard contact tips; silver-plated bus bars and heavy gauge bus links; product options, such as an auxiliary switch that displays contactor status, magnetic blow outs, continuous high temperature coils; a wide range of coil voltages from 6 V to 240 V DC; and brackets in a variety of sizes for contactor mounting.
