Wire Grid Resistors

Enapros offers Wire Grid Resistors, EWGR. These resistors are suitable where high wattage and high current is required. In this resistors FeCrAl wires are used. Wire is formed into grid by bending wire in zigzag form. Multiple grids are assembled as a bank and then fitted in an enclosure. Specification: temperature range from -55ºC to +375ºC maximum; dielectric strength is 2500 V AC; temperature coefficient is ±200 PPM/ºC maximum; and short term overload is about 10 wattage rating for 5 sec. Applications: loading resistors and dynamic braking.
