SILICONE & VITREOUS COATED WIRE WOUND RESISTORS

Enapros offers Silicone & Vitreous Coated Wire Wound Resistors. These are fixed and adjustable type wire wound resistors. A tubular ceramic resistor is wound with copper alloy wire or chromium wire on ceramic core and then coated with a high temperature non-flammable silicon coating or vitreous enamelled. These resistors are suitable for educational modelling applications, load testing, industrial machinery, electric power distribution, instruments and automation control installations. Features: strong terminals; resistance value unchanged after long term use; multi-terminal types or adjustable types available; non-inductive type available; mounting arrangements for all resistors available; custom built resistors is our speciality; and fixed vitreous enamelled resistors available. Performance: operating temperature: -55°C to +250°C; dielectric strength: AC 1000 V for 1 min; temperature co-efficient : 50 ppm/°C, 100 ppm/°C; short time overload : 10 x wattage rating for 5 seconds; moisture resistance : temperature 40°C, moisture 95% DC 100 V 500h; thermal shock : wattage rating 30 minutes, -25°C -15 minutes; vibration : 10 c/c to 50 c/s (1 min) : 2 h each of paralleled and right angle; load life : wattage rating 1.5 hrs on, 30 minutes off, 1000 hrs; and derate to zero at 250°C.
