Heavy-duty Power Factor Correction Capacitors from Garg Distributors are specially designed to meet the demands of heavy-duty industrial loads such as rectifiers; arc or induction furnaces; large rolling mills, etc. These loads are basically arduous in nature they give rise to high over current or high over voltage in an irregular pattern. Rectifier or arc furnaces generate harmonic voltage, which may result in severe over current on capacitors. They are usually prone to get damaged due to harmonic interferences caused by these types of loads. These capacitors are designed differently to meet the above criterion of higher over current and higher surge voltages. The basic element winding is the same as that of standard duty design.
