Smisen Controls offers a range of tubular wire wound Braking Resistors. These are based on coils, spiral wound on ceramic formers. The IP 20 rated enclosures are made of galvanised steel or are powder coated. Low inductivity and high insulation voltage are ensured by means of frames made from electrically insulating and metallic materials. Even if the resistor wire heats up, it remains firmly supported and fixed.
