Profiling Scanner

ST's profiling scanner incorporates two transmitters and two receivers for applications where the area of concern is at the outer edges of an object and the central area can be ignored. The split single-axis ValuScan scanner treats two transmitter/ receiver sets as a single unit. The scanners economically determine the size, profile, geometry, and position of moving objects by means of infrared light beams.
