Digital Read Out System

Dynamation offers a digital read out system, Type DMS-16-SP for measuring speed, ratio and percentage. This is the latest digital technology using microprocessor and CMOS; a reliable measuring instrument for continuous operation; fine incremental resolution and continuous flow of information regardless of speed measured; and flexible modular construction for 2 to 16 measuring points. This measuring system is suitable for multiple digital speed measurements on web process machines. The system can measure the speed, ratio and percentage difference between individual driven rollers and cylinders. Its main applications are in the paper, foil, printing and fiber industries as well as rolling mills. The measuring system is modularly constructed and is therefore very flexible it is equally suitable for small systems with 2 measuring points as well as large installations with a maximum of 16 measuring points. Individual measurement points are selected by push buttons on the front panel. The selected points are displayed on the front panel. Digital display indicates the measurements selected. The displays are arranged along with the push buttons on the front panel.
