Controlling Of Complex Movements In Motors

A universal, smart axis manager for controlling complex movements driven by all types of motors and servo motors is introduced by Atlas Copco Controls. The SocapelSAM enables a dynamic single-axis or multi-axis application. With its patented, high resolution resolver interface, it allows high dynamic precision in path monitoring. Tools for configuration and programming in Windows are included and the IEC 1131-3 programming language is used. There are the 'Pipes' macro-commands for modelling mechanical functions and synchronisms axes. Tools for remote program loading and for diagnostics are also included. There are more than 300 synchronous and asynchronous servo motors. The torque range is from 0.2 to 80 Nm and the output range 750 W to 22 kW.
