Thermal Cut-Outs & Thermostats

Portex Technologies has developed a complete range of Model BPM and PCT Ultra miniature thermal cut-outs and thermostats for over temperature protection of electric motors, transformers, appliances, welding equipments, electronic hardware and any electrical equipment where over heat protection or control is required. Portex thermal cut outs are fitted in the electric equipment to be protected at the location where temperature rise is to be sensed. When temperature increases the thermal cut-out heats up and its internal mechanism (precision built bi-metallic switch) operates at desired preset temperature thereby opening its contacts and switching off the current supply.
