Static Eliminator

Shiballoy's new super ion air knife removes static electricity from plastics, webs, sheet stock and other product surfaces where dust, tearing, jamming or hazardous shocks are a problem. It also provides a sheet of air to sweep surfaces clean of particles, dust and dirt. Production speeds, product quality and surface cleanliness can improve dramatically. The super ion air knife produces a laminar sheet of airflow that floods an area or surface with static eliminating ions. The balanced airflow across its length is uniform and will not cause misalignments to critical surfaces such as webs. Force can be adjusted from a "blast"to a "breeze". This new design is non-radioactive, shockless and has no moving parts to wear out. It requires only 4 SCFM of compressed air per foot of length at 5 PSIg supply. Sound level is a whisper at 50 dBA. Lengths up to 42"are available. Applications include web cleaning, pre-paint auto body blow off, neutralizing plastics, bag opening, printing machinery, packaging operations and elimination of static electricity shocks.
